A2 is a blend of Arbequina and Ascolano. Arbequina is an olive from northern Spain. The fruit is small. The oil from the Arbequina is quite aromatic and fruity. Ascolano is a traditional Italian variety. Our blend of these two oils produced an award winning blend. The A2 is grassy, herbaceous, with a hint of tropical fruit and a peppery finish. The A2 is the perfect extra virgin olive oil for dressing grilled foods and even olive oil ice cream.
